PROJECT DESCRIPTION
GOHmath is an online and workshop-based tutoring service designed to helping teachers, students, and education professionals pass teacher certification exams in Mathematics, Sciences, Language Arts, and History. The goal of the GOHmath Digital Media Project is to create free online educational videos for teachers. We are currently seeking (6-12) enthusiastic, innovative digital media and production interns with a strong interest in both the creation and promotion of high-quality online educational videos.

Shoots: January 10th-16th, 2015
Post-production: January 17th-24th, 2015
Participants may also apply for GOHmath’s summer assistant teaching and digital media internships in Boston and New York.
DIGITAL MEDIA INTERNSHIPS
EARLY REGISTRATION DEADLINE: 11/18/14
DESCRIPTION
We are currently seeking 3 enthusiastic and innovative digital media production interns with technical expertise and a strong interest in creating free online educational videos.
Digital Media Production Interns will help design, edit, and produce GOHmath’s Spring 2015 online educational videos. Interns will attend daily pre & post production
rehearsals with a GOHmath production team and research intern to map-out scripts, select media and audio for each video, and design, edit, and publish online content.
Ideal candidate is a savvy digital video designer and have interest in creating free online education media.
Location: Oberlin College
Stipend: Food/Meals
Dates: 1/6/15 - 1/24/15
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
-
iMovie video development and maintenance with audio-visual and interactive elements.

Creation of logos, artwork and design, video intro, content, editing, and credits.

Management ofc hannels/accounts, SEO, and content (including webisodes, promos, etc.) on platforms such as YouTube and Facebook.

Production projects (pre-production, shoots, post-production, publishing).

Co-Servicing of instruction videos to multiple outlets including YouTube (Vimeo,

Facebook, etc.) and all digital platforms (Google +, blogs, etc.).
RESEARCH & PRODUCTION INTERNSHIPS

We are currently seeking 3 creative and hard-working research and production interns with expertise in mathematics, science, english or history and interest in creating free online educational videos.
Digital Media Production Interns will help research, design, and produce GOHmath’s Spring 2015 educational videos. Interns will attend daily pre & post production
rehearsals with a GOHmath production team to block scripts, identifying major themes and media for each video, map-out video introductions, and assist in the production and publishing of online content with a digital media intern. Ideal candidate will specialize in math, science, english or history and have interest in producing free online education media.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Identify major themes in teacher certification exams in math, science, and history.

Assist with pre-production rehearsals: blocking of script; map-out and script contentspecific material and media.

Production projects: create intro’s and select slides, media and audio for each video.

Post-production: assist digital media designer with the final production and layout of each video.
