GOH-FLEX GEN. CURRICULUM MATH & SCIENCE 1DAY LAB ~JAN 25TH
The January 25th, 2026 GOH-Flex General Curriculum Subtest 2—Mathematics, Science, and Technology/Engineering 1-Day Lab equips educators with the skills to prepare a well-organized and developed analysis aligned with Objective 0020. This targeted session supports teachers preparing for the General Curriculum (903 & 907) alternative Flex assessments, focusing on integrating mathematics and science/engineering content and practices. Participants learn how to interpret a scenario, analyze data, and apply problem-solving processes to develop evidence-based responses that demonstrate conceptual understanding and instructional reasoning.
Learning Goals
By the end of this session, participants will:
- Understand the structure and scoring of the MTEL-Flex General Curriculum Subtest 2.
- Practice interpreting integrated STEM scenarios and identifying key content connections.
- Outline and organize a strong, evidence-based written response.
- Strengthen analytical and problem-solving skills using sample prompts.
